Those camera bikes and other assorted motorbikes that follow the runners in races like this: do they have some system for making sure the athletes aren't constantly inhaling motorbike exhaust for 26 miles? It's not the nicest stuff when one goes past you, never mind breathing it in constantly for hours while you're exerting yourself...

I want to run this race soooooooo bad, so bad. I already know I can quailify for Boston 3:10 But my heart is in New York City.

This was such a great race to watch. I remember thinking 'Oh God' when Wami passed Paula with 800 to go but then she came bounding back. Just great.
