A video of one of the first trial runs of the micro outdoor fireplace I built out of steel cans and a sardine tin. Fuel is small pieces of Duraflame Anyfire firelog. Building instructions here: http://www.wikihow.com/Build-a-Micro-Sized-Outdoor-Fireplace-from-Recycled-Ma...

  • HI

    I like the fire place

and my favorite thing is the damper system i think it is pretty smart !

    thanks .

  • @19wael96 thanks for watching :)

This design is so out of date tho...I have a much larger one with flue baffles (a 3-lb coffee can is the firebox) that can simmer water, but I didn't get a chance to get a good vid of it. With the larger firebox,it burns for almost twenty minutes per fuel chunk- so there's less tending and more enjoying the tiny fire (now hot enough for a couple people to warm their hands by)
