How to Catch Groudon In Emerald

Step 1: Go to the weather institute on Route 119
Step 2: Talk to the guy on the second floor and he will tell you about a drought at a certain route
Step 3: Go to that route and there will be a drought..look for a rockface or mountain and you should see a cave, enter the cave and approach Groudon.
Step 4: Make sure you have a pokemon that knows hypnosis or sing to put it to sleep
Step 5: Get its health into the red zone and put it to sleep
Step 6: Throw ultra balls and hope for the best
NOTE: You must have already beaten the elite four to catch groudon

kyogre sucks, groudon rules cos its a ground type but can use solarbeam, fire blast and other cool moves
