4th annual Robot Wars - Lightweight division

Pretty Hate Machine was built by Christian Carlberg of Overkill/Minion fame. It is a walking robot, which at the time meant that it could weight twice as much as the others in the same weight category. It has two gas engines powering the two saw blade arrays. The shuffling mechanism was powered by wheelchair motors.

Ziggy was basically an abrasive saw on wheels. It was built by Jonathan Ridder of Ziggo fame. It had a foam/kevlar composite shell and tank drive using flat belts. The saw was powered by a large 2-stroke engine
