Historically, emperors would sometimes send a messenger out to another empire to tell them that "this army has been defeated" , even if it wasn't true just so they could control their thoughts and have a sense of power of everyone else. The Romans used statues of their leaders as a symbol of control and power, now we just have FOX News and CNN to replace that. Mind control becomes much easier than it was in ancient times and free thinking becomes less common.

I'm with Colby. I was in the US army, 11B, in the Republic of Korea. The pentagon doesn't want info out there because the Iraq war was UNjustified from jump. If more people knew what was going on in the military, they'd be appalled at what's happening. From the brainwashing to the attitudes toward foreign civilians... American citizens would be pissed if they knew. I wasn't even in Iraq, I was only in Korea, and some of what went on in there was f___ed.
