Did you make the arrangement or is this the Rob Mackillop transcription? I picked up the Theorbo a few months back and thought the cello suites might be fun to work on. Thanks for posting, it sounds like it will arrange with few if any alterations. Sweet touch.

what a perfect instrument for playing continuo. Indeed what would our Baroque sound like if the The great arch Lute was never invented. We would be hearing a lot of boring harpsichord I fear.

@IzzyCello999 And would you have said thus were you not a 'cellist and the prelude had been written for the theorbo? Yet, I'm still inclined to agree and I play neither. I will say that I find the theorbo more suitable than the guitar . . . what bass!
