@solidr1Once before he had this incident, I tried putting the prius in neutral while moving, the computer won't let you. Try turning car off while moving, the computer won't let you. The car has computers that prohibit certain things while the car is moving. Like using reverse, and park are examples.

This is clearly a hoax! The guy was on the phone with the 911 operator and when she asked him if he had tried to place the vehicle in neutral, he said "I'm trying to control the vehicle ma'am." Which is clear to me that he never placed the vehicle in neutral. He was holding the brake down with one foot and the gas pedal down with the other foot. When investigators questioned him, he lawyered up. Yet the media never addressed this clear case of fraud publicly.

What people do not realize is every Toyota is equipped with a black box. Prius's go way over 90MPH this is so very Fake. After the Feds checked out the readings on the black box, charges were dropped. Fancy that!
