Jay Leno, 4/11/95 - Branford Marsalis visits the show, chats with Jay, and plays a number, "Some Cow Funk" from his new CD, "Buckshot La Funk", with the band.
@bluesnessman He played the living hell out of it in Blakey's band- try the Keystone Korner stuff by Art to hear a great example of it. He smoked on it, but of course Tenor & Soprano are his true horns...
P.S. If Buckshot Lefonque had sounded this fantastic on the studio album, I think I would have liked it more. This sounds pretty sweet...
