Playing cards involves SKILL & part of skill is memory. Being allowed to write down the cards that you see is just stupid, but most people agree with you, so apparently I'm in the minority, but that's okay. Ya can't be in the majority on every issue : )

I can't believe they let you write down what your opponent has. Part of playing cards is memorization. When I play a card that allows me to look at my top 5 cards & put them back in any order, should I be allowed to write them down? Hell no. That's totally lame.
They're probably writting down life point swaps, and each card their opponents play, this way they know what to expect. If your opponent plays a Cryptic Command game 1, game 2 if you see 4 mana open you know you have to be carefull since your opponent may have it.
