  • ok so installed 10g but forgot the SQL Plus, how would I add SQL Plus man?

  • @DuyAnh1 Rerun the setup wizard and select the option in the checkbox.

  • This will install the oracle client, not a database.

Not sure of what form builder is , sorry .

The net configuration configures the TNS names.ora file for the database contivity.

  • @jchiar you use a diferent CD ??? , because i have one, but i think is only for install the Oracle database 10g , and not the cliente :S ... or the same Cd is for install the client and the Server??

  • @enriquelmx This is just how to install the client, not the database.

  • In your environment variables. In a dos window run 'set'

i am trying to use the form builder and am unable to connect to my university's oracle database. i get a "time out" error. i have not used the net configuration utility as i am not sure what it does.
