  • when you do the diddles on the snare or do rolls keep your fingers on the stick, if you can keep your fingers on it will not only look better but that means you have better chops so you can play faster, and im not saying playing fast is everything but overall good vid

  • thnx bud, i do dat now, i s pretty messd up dat tym bt thanx fr the appreciation little encouragements make learnin dis awsum instrument worthwhile :D

  • dude...if u are an ametuer, dont bash up your drumkit..that kills your skills...try to keep it basic..dont give rolls that u dont know..nyc playing!

  • thnx.....i'll keep dat in mind....though thats wats screwing me up dis tym fr my Rockschool Grade3 exam on d 6th....i play forte as fortessimo and my snare hits are too loud but the thing is its not like im deliberately playing lound..its just coming out dat way..so i try to practice playin soft.nd yup my fills are quite messed up........xcept in dis vid.........i messd up 1 coz id kept d floor tom too far away.......... :)

but hey thnx fr d advice......

  • hey man theres alot ov potential there, if u havnt alredy stuffed the bass drum with towels duvets pillows etc definatly do tht, u need to do this at least half way buddy ull get a good sound on your bass drum, also get a click pad they are sold by remo and are a little sticky pad that sticks on your bass drum head, that will give you a better bass drum sound, also always hit the bass drum at the same time as you hit a crash cymbal,

cool cool if you do you will only get alot better in time

    :)

  • thanx man.though i have stuffed in around 7-8 small cushions in my bass, and i no i need to work on d crash nd bass syncing.just never paid too mch attention to it , but thnx a lot....always helps to get tips nd encouragement.

  • Not bad, Not bad! Keep practicing and you'll improve quickly.

  • Nice playing man I wish I was as good as you : )

  • I want to buy a new set but I can't make up my mind , do you recommend this one?,

  • I'd suggest moving on to Remo heads and Paiste Pst3 Cymbals. You can get Paiste cymbals pretty cheap and they are great value for money in my opinion. Remo's are priceless

  • lol good job covering up your face with the cymbol. idk if that was on purpose or not but probably will save you alot of funny comments on what a mexican drum face looks like

  • Not bad for a beginner!
