Hi there! I am experiencing a bit of difficulty noticing the movement of the reflex. Whilst my classmates are noticing an 'against' movement , i am seeing a 'with' movement of the reflex. I am really worried considering i have an examination tomorrow. Could u please advise me to what I might be during wrong...thanx:)
I also wanted to know what program u used on your computer! It's pretty neat!!

@Nasjhaz Hey there! I hope I'm not too late. I am afraid I cannot help you with what you are seeing, but I can remind you to be sure that your sleeve is either down or up, depending on what mirror you want to use. I typically keep my sleeve down. The link to the ret simulator is in the "more info" box.

Ret is so hard. I tried it last Thurs and Friday and I was lost. Fortunately I had an OD helping me. He told me that Ret is one of the hardest procedures to learn and he said, "just use the autorefract." I don't want to rely on that machine. Your explanation is so much easier to understand. Wish me luck this week! <3 Skott

@skottmalaise1 Aww, good luck. Don't lose hope - autorefraction is great, but ret is not worthless. Master it now and you can always keep it in your back pocket. Keep it up!
