Groningen, the Netherlands: Students from Censi (Hanzehogeschool Groningen) in cooperation with TNO-ICT worked on a project to develope a game that would utilize the Sun SPOT.
The game works as follows; First there is an inilisation phase, which establishes who the players are and in which order the game should be played. Next a worm starts moving over the leds. This worm can be manipulated by pressing the left button and moving the Sun SPOT (which for example changes the direction of the game). Every so often the worm stops and starts a countdown timer, to which the player must respond with a response gesture. If this is done in time, the player survives, if not, the player drops out. The object of the game is to be the last player, which becomes exceedingly hard as the worm's speed (and countdown timer) speed up after time.
