The taxpayers are paying currently. The education package Gov Henry that will bail out education in millions of dollars which includes school services for autism that leaves people paying more in taxes than they will ever pay in premium increases. Parents are not allowed to be heard and saving money in special educational taxes should be a priority. Republicans are about saving tax money not restricting care to people who need it.

It is not about "Emotion". It is about the future of thousand autistic children in Oklahoma. It is NOT fair if all Parents with autistic children have to sell the house,and borrow the money to treat their children.
Please look at the faces of autistic children in the movie. Don't worry too much about the insurance companies. They will be OK. These kids in the movie are very important. Take your action now or we will take you out of your office, Mr. Representative!!!

Of course there will be an increase in cost for the insurance consumer! More significantly, there will be a decrease in profits for insurance companies. With the cost shared by the insurance companies perhaps the burden on taxpayers will be alleviated. What makes it ok to exclude these precious children from coverage and thus care? It breaks my heart knowing how much is spent on preventable disease due to smoking, excess weight and reckless behavior--all covered by insurance I might add.

Just another indication that Rep Peterson is against taxpayers. If no action, then the taxpayers will pick up the tab. Something that he can not understand. Nick's Law is the fiscally responsible thing to do for taxpayers and morally obilgation for the children.
