@thesystemsfailed She has first hand knowledge of relations between men and women, and of marriage through her parents. Also in her era, women becoming mothers, being pushed to become so even was the norm. Her choice of not becoming one, was an exception and there is more value in such a testimony and study than in the numerous study of maternity and mothers... in knowing why, how, and how succesfully she has made that choice, why that option is valid and positive for women who want it.
Can someone who has never been married nor had children really understand what it is to be a women who has? Can she really fully examine the relations between men and women either? Being the observer and rather than having first hand knowledge of such phenomena tends to taint ones views to fit ones own paradigm in certain ways.
