In Defense of William "Bill" Ayers

I just had to whip something together, because this country is getting WAY OUT OF CONTROL! Not that this will make a difference, but at least I was able to vent.

@j19527 Wow, you really don't know anything about our foreign policy. Time for a history lesson; go watch my other video American Imperialism Timeline (both parts). Marx wrote extensively on many subjects, not just communism. Just because he was wrong about communism actually working well, doesn't negate everything that he wrote. We made things worse for other countries, but not ourselves. Taxes are GOOD for society. They help pay for very necessary and important programs that help us.

@Allisoninsky What makes Marx non-communist? Are other countries that different from us? We do not instill dictators. Even if we did, it would make things worse for our-as you say, "imperialistic pursuits." While this is happening, democrats raise taxes; Republicans are the lesser of the two evils here.

@j19527 Democrats are indeed guilty, but they are a lesser of two evils. Obviously, a secure economy is the reason for our historical Imperialist pursuits. It's not just oil, it's bananas, sugar, tin, copper, rubber, etc...so we make sure other countries don't exclude us from their resources by assassinating democratically elected leaders and instilling dictators. Just because professors agree with Marx, doesn't make them communists. You should read some of his works to see for yourself.

@j19527 Nobody is preaching communism here. Have you even read Shock Doctrine? Our government (w/ Republicans especially, FOX news, Bush Co., McCain = prime examples) is notorious for instilling fear in its citizens. Why is it so hard for people to accept that the U.S. has committed (and still is) horrific acts of violence to ensure its imperialistic stance in the world? All Ayers did was to try to stop the biggest terrorist of anyone, the U.S.! YOUR ignorance fails and hurts society.
