This was my first Arduino project, done with a speaker scavenged from my old Apple //c. It plays my callsign (KD8KXK) in Morse code in a loop. It wouldn't be too much work to make the program do something more useful such as taking serial input of text to repeat as Morse code.

  • do you think you cuold add a audio signal to the carrier frequency, maybe to use it as a short distance fm transmitter, for a car or so/

  • Good video. Interesting possibilities. Thanks.

  • Congrats on your ham ticket. I have been a ham since 1974 and I am glad to see you do an arduino project that is ham related. I hope more hams do this kind of project and get them published in QST and other mags. I am new to the arduinto too and was very surprised that very few hams even know about this device. I am making a project that I hope will control my tuner with 2 servos and a stepper motor using the arduino. Hope to catch you on the ham bands...73

  • hey bhtooefr, thanks for uploading

  • Congrats on the ham license! I got my own (no-code Tech) as a teen... then a little thing called the Internet came around, and I sort of lost interest. I still enjoy going to hamfests, though.
