The next morning she decided to call Lola and tell her about her new house guest. Lola was changing clothes and picked up her phone.

Lola: hello.
Addison: hey, what are you doing?
Lola: nothing, what is going on with you?
Addison: something interesting happened.
Lola: what?
Addison: my parents decided to house a foreign exchange student from Australia...
Lola: a cute boy? (Addison didn't answer) OMG! It is a cute boy!
Addison: Lola...
Lola: well...this is new.
Addison: I don't like Tristan like that!
Lola: his name is Tristan?
Addison: yeah.
Lola: I'll have to meet his sometime...

*Two days later...Nick and the rest of the Jonas family are home*

Addison was getting ready and her phone rang. She picked it up and saw that it was Nick. She smiled and answered it.

Addison: hey Nick!
Nick: I have a surprise for you...
Addison: what?
Nick: turn around.

Addison turned around and saw Nick standing in his window. She immediately ran over to the window and opened it; Nick did the same to his window. They both hung up their phones.

Addison: NICK! You're finally home!
Nick: I know, I have missed you so much and it has only been two days!
Addison: why don't you come over? We can have our sleepover.
Nick: I'll be over in a minute.

They both shut their windows and Addison cleaned up her room a little. Tristan was in his room reading, so she was alone for a little while. Finally Nick knocked on the door and she raced to get it. She swung open the door and jumped into Nick's arms.

Nick: (Laughed) don't crush me!
Addison: I can't help it, I'm glad to see you!
Nick: come on crazy, let's go upstairs.
Addison: okay, let's go.
Nick: you kind of have to let go of me first..
Addison: (grumbled and laughed) do I have to?
Nick: (laughed and smiled) Addison do you want a piggy back ride?

Addison smiled and nodded "yes". Nick laughed and gently swung her onto his back.
Nick: you are so silly sometimes.
Addison: (laughed) now go! Upstairs now!
Nick: so I'm your horse now?
Addison: yep.

Nick just laughed and he carried her up the stairs and into her room. He ran over to her bed and slung her on it. Then he put jumped on top of her and held his weight up with his hands. He just looked at her and smiled.

Addison: my horse is crushing me...
Nick: very funny.
Addison: Nick...
Nick: yeah?
Addison: do you think that you could get off of me? (She laughed)
Nick: I don't know...I'm pretty comfortable.
Addison: NICK! (She laughed)

Just then her door opened and Tristan walked in. He didn't notice Addison and Nick.
Tristan: Addison do you think I could borrow your- (He looked up and saw Nick on top of Addison)

Nick rolled off of Addison and she ran over to Tristan.

Addison: hey, this is my friend Nick. Nick this is a foreign exchange student that is staying with us, Tristan.

Nick looked confused and then he went over to Tristan. He looked at Addison.

Nick: I didn't know that you had someone staying with you.
Addison: I didn't either until two days ago.
Tristan: It's nice to meet you Nick; Addison has told me tons about her best friend. (He smiled and shook Nicks hand)

Nick's thoughts:
Is it just me or did he say that to antagonize me? I think that he likes Addison. No, I know that he does. Why else would he have said "best friend" like that? Addison won't stop looking at him! Does she like him too? I thought that after we made up that we could be...I don't know...more than friends. What am I going to do?

So Nick is freaking about about Tristan. Does that mean the Tristan really does like her? If so, does she like him back? Why does something always stand in the way of them being together?
