I have one of these used for 6 months.... in the storage..(you can type in the serial and find out)
I also upgraded the ram to 2 gig.
I'll sell mine for 350 cash.

500 euros jesus bhudda ! to much for that. asus cost less then 200 euros and runs pretty well on xp pro

I would recommend the T1028M now. A better netbook all round.

Is there any difference in the brightness of the screen between M912M and M912?

Yes, the M912M is much brighter and has much better contrast than the M912X/V due to LED backlight (Vs CCFL backlight.)
