  • Firefighters are cool!

  • What should he be doing? He may be just a guy with a camera and not a fireman at all.

  • Good job guys.

  • Why was he unconcious.. run out of oxi. or did something fall on him? what happened? is he ok today?

  • @ NJS1726, They were still in the collapse zone of the building and possibly in the way of defensive firefighting operations.

  • Charged lines right next to where he first was + engine. It put all of them at risk.

  • At around 0:25, you hear a CO hollar "get him outta the fire zone", his rescue team laid him in the way of hand lines,so yes he is in danger, and could have slowed down an attack with a hand line; as far as backboarding him, it looks as though they just pulled him out and havent gotten that far yet.

  • electricity and water dont go well together.....if he has a head, neck, or back injury there going to try and get him alive before they treat the injury

  • Thank God he's okay!

  • We are just trained differently in this business, more than likely they saw what had happened and were able to see if there was possibility of there being a spinal injury.
