The show may not be epic *as a whole*, but it definitely has plenty of epic moments/episodes. And that scene in the video where Clark darts under the car then does a spin move just before sliding to save that girl...Pretty epic......come on. : )

If Tom wanted it, and if he hit the weights and took it serious as Chris did prior to filming the first film, and he bulked up for the role, then yeah, let him do it. I don't think he wants the role anymore after season 10 of Smallville. I would want Erica Durance and definitely Michael Rosenbaum as Lex, but also a villian he could actually fight as well, like Darkseid or someone he could fight hand to hand and make it epic like Superman 2 fighting the 3 villians from Krypton in Metropolis.

keep in mind the writer strike from a while ago, i bet thats what happened to Smallville. anyways, Tom would be the perfect Superman, only problem is how he would transition from Clark Kent on the sci-fi/drama Smallville to the big screen as Superman. i'm not saying he won't be a good one, he just needs to make a good transition ya know
