the power or size of woofers doesn't always have to do how loud the db's are in your car, it also depends on the acoustics and surface area in your car as well

Mead's setup is nice. He is an amazing installer but for high end spl his vehicle sucks!!!!!. Sure he runs louder than my setup but that being said there are many vehicles that run well over what he has and are using products that most people would be able to afford. (15,000 dollar rockford amps..) x2. The mountanier is only running 3 18's and only running 10k watts and its hitting over his 30,000 watt set up..... just making a comparison. the Mountanier also has a total build cost of half meads

Everyone sees Meads Set up and thinks that his setup is GOD no it actually for the $ sucks azz!!!! He is running to 15K amps on those 4 18's. I know of most ppl running only about 5K hitting well over what he is running. Hell I know of someone who runs 3 18's walled in a Mountiner who is capable of 161.3 on the TL. and his set up is a daily dirver. He is hitting that volume with 1 driver less than Meade and with half the power!!!!! and .25 of the money!!!!

Yep Yep steve barley hits a 151.2 just herd. and thats in the tahoe, but the caddy he tested in the kick creeped a 160. either way they are nice installs. not spl vehicles.
