It wasn't too long ago when the Frozen Food Master completed a week of frozen pie frodowns. I told myself, I would stay away form the pies for awhile. But once the leaves began to fall and the football games began, I had a crazy craving for some pumpkin pie. Marie Callender did not let me down with her apple pie so I figured she could cure my pumpkin pie craving. But will the pie be good enough to overcome the 3g of trans fat? I tried making some pumpkin pancakes the other day and they were damn good. Take a can of pumpkin pie filling and mix 2-3 people's worth of dry pancake mix with it, then start adding your liquid ingredients until it is the right viscosity (you will need less fluid because of the pie filling) and cook them up as normal. They don't hardly need any toppings even.

Found this pie for $5. and cooked according to directions - a full 75 minutes. The top "domed" and slight mahogany browning of about 1/3 of pie. It looked better than the video - all firmed up - not fluid like the video. And VERY delicious. ..even the CRUST is tasty and completely edible. No throw out of crust by me! Yummy!
