To me, this is a wonderful piece of graphic art, but it's incredibly like Hollywood theatre. It's overly dramatic, and because of the way it's presented with no proof other than conjecture and a matter-of-fact tone of voice, I have problems recognizing this as anything other than propaganda, spectacle, and artistic liscense. The overabundance of negative symbols biased the argument clearly. The argument didn't convince me.

I'm afraid there's a lot you don't know, my friend. I've watched this a long time ago when it was still hosted at The Knife Party website. I can assure you that this video says absolutely nothing untruthful. You don't have to take my word for it, of course. Just verify the information for yourself, especially that concerning The Project for the New American Century and its main paper, Rebuilding America's Defenses. Then, you might want to have a look at the political life of those mentioned.

I've read the original articles from this time (2 years ago) and I was of the opinion that it was all a media hubabolu, like the current media frenzy about Prez. Obama, nonsense to distract and bully for a party's future political power. I commented to reflect upon the massive use of extremely potent graphics that this short film contains. To me, it presents an analysis and prediction, but it doensn't include any proof, meaning that it's pre-biased towards those already in the know. That's all.

@SwivelHawk: Even though self-styled radicals love the idea of their being "in the know" while the rest of us are just sheep manipulated by the corporate media, anyone who has studied the issues involved in this video knows it's just more bread-and-butter, Zinn-Chomsky platitudes and truisms rolled into an aesthetically pleasing clip. The assertions are either factually wrong or make promiscuous use of shards of truth. Paranoid nonsense, in other words.

It's easy to just go on and discredit something without even showing evidence or at least a reference. I could really do that as well, the problem is I'm a bit too attached to the idea of honesty, so I couldn't go too far doing it. Where, Tory, where is your evidence that these facts shown here by what you call, and I agree, an "aesthetically pleasing clip", are wrong or not true? Could you share that with us?

eavening, your comments clearly show your ignorance lack of research and reading around the topics being presented. It never ceases to amaze me that those who refute facts the loudest are always the ones who have done exactly zero research; every single time.

Ummm...What you said implies my point. The short film can't be taken face value, because it doesn't present all the information and needs research to back it up. As an effective argument, it fails to convince or address anyone but those already convinced. Not to say that I disagree with the artist's message, though I do have a slightly different opinion on the matter based upon what I have read in newspapers.

an idiot talking over slick graphics doesn't make what he says true. no other country comes close to being as great as america. our government has never been perfect, but who's is? (yours?...NOT!) we didn't invent war...we just perfected defending ourselves and other countries who can't defend themselves. so you and others like you can suck it!

What the US government HAS perfected, with a lot of help from the nazi mind warfare scientists it nabbed after WWII, is the ability to keep its population in line by a torrent of gung-ho propaganda.

Mr.davje67 absolutely believes in the truth of his statements, neither wants nor requires any external references to get a reality check and will fight, if necessary to defend the world view with which he has been indoctrinated.

I wouldn't do it to a dog, unfortunately, the US government would.

Everybody, please forward this to all your friends, neighbors, family, even co-workers (if allowed to at work). William Kristol and the NeoCONS are planning to hibernate in Alaska, and bring PNAC back to life in time for Sarah Palin and 2012 election! As sick as this game plan is, it is still true. Google "PNAC Palin".
