@phatso1986 1st. Polygamy tends to be one of those things that usually won't work in this society. Spouses often want to be the center of affection from the other spouse and the whole concept of polygamy ruins that.

2nd. Your left hand is part of you. That's asking if you can marry yourself which you can't since marriage is a union of people.

3rd. Your dog doesn't have the ability to consent to that. Therefore, no you can't do that.

4th. Once again, it's an issue of consent.

@handyman6042 Incorrect. It has legal standing. When your married you recive tax breaks, property ownership, shared health insurance and so on. If two gay couples were going to adopt kids it would be much harder to get insurance for those kids because the couple do not have the same standing as married couples. Marrage is business just as much as it is in love. We are depriving people when we do not give them that equal right.
