A day to the start of the largest ever conference on climate change, the Climate Express train with 400 delegates, business leaders and environmental campaigners has arrived in Copenhagen . The gathering will be addressing the biggest threat so far to human kind, global warming, and some countries are already adopting environment friendly methods of producing energy.

a little stupid, but also trusting. that's what makes such displays as those in copenhagen as not only pathetic, but also quite sad. the money, the effort, the emotional capital. all for a hoax.

Sorry but I am not going to live like Nomads burning cow dung for heat and using 12 volt solar pannels for TV and my cell phone. These people do this out of necessity not because they are environmentalists. They are a poor isolated society that have adopted new technology alowing them to connect with the reast of the world without leaving their home. Good for them. The global warming Nuts should stop exploiting these people for their socialist cause.

Time will proove global warming hysteria wrong. In 100 years Earth will still look much the same. I think all the hysteria is more about resentment of industrialized countries and the desire by some for socialism. Just hear what they are saying how much will the rich countries have to pay. It's all about money, power, and redusing freedom for Americans. The Earth is dynamic and changes over time. Global warming will be a footnote in history in 100 years.

lets hear it, conservatives. I know it takes independant thought to understand science. But it doesn't take humans effort to adapt to the tides of our globe. Unless your own idealogy limits your own perspective of the natural environment. Fossil fuels is an outdated technology of the industrial revolution. Like computers that need upgrades, so does our tools we use. the Question is not about limiting or annilating our basic technology; its about developing our tools better.

McDonalds could fuel thousands of vehicles daily with old cooking oil from the fryers. They don't do this easy fix stuff because it is more about politics and getting the masses to be taxed for other "causes" beyond real solutions to the problem.

The skepticism may be coming from the fact that the last several winters have involved near-record cold for the parts of the Northern Hemisphere. It's irrelevant, we have to move to biofuels anyway -- saw a cool site; Balkingpoints ; incredible satellite view of earth

She just walked from London. The only way you are going to make any decrease in pollution is for everyone to walk everywhere - no vehicles. One other benefit is gas prices would tumble to 30 cents a gallon again.
