i dont get it, i have a custom computer with 3TB's storage, 3 seperate 1TB hard drives, each hard drive running a different OS. One running Vista, one running XP, and one running Linux. Now so many mac fans say that macs never get viruses, and PC's always do, and that Vista sucks....well lets see, i just recently put antivirus software on after having Vista for a year, and it scanned and found no viruses, and i havent had a problem with Vista either...stop lying you guys!

@breeves7290 any windows based computer eh? take my hp. nothing special, simple 15 inch screen, chiclet keyboard, and 4.3 inch trackpad. It's processors are waaaaay faster than the macbook's, and the price is $650. Apple's computers are fine, but they're just overpriced, and you're just trying to defend a purchase that you made.

just get sony vaio z. it has full power dual core and even a dvrw drive. less than 3.3 lbs. nothing comes close yet.

LOL, Centrino 2 is the name of the "processor technology"? Wow, man. Centrino is Intels mobile PACKAGE for Core/C2Ds. It's the CHIPSET (not processor) and the WIRELESS RADIO. Christ, it's even specifically stated on the Centrino info page - "It is not a mobile CPU - rather, the term covers a particular combination of mainboard chipset, mobile CPU and wireless network interface in the design of a laptop."

ive noticed how much shit the air and apple gets, but any windows based computer that trys to match a mac costs equal or more. when you realize your getting great speed mixed witih a amazing os along with a nice looking comp. its worth it.

For sure. Most people don't look for a gaming laptop. To the major laptop consumers the Air and Adamo are advancements in the industry, although you probably wouldn't consider it so.
