@marcelino481 ,just an acdc song played over the speakers,i think metallica usually use it in outdoor concerts before they are due to come on. i know they used it in donington England when i was there, then ecstasy of gold..yeah :)

@muttlutt The crowd was into it, though. I was there and even when he came out and introduced them, the crowd went nuts. They introduced him earlier in the night, so he introduced them. It was fitting.

@vanvilder I was there - Chris Rock did an hour of stand up before they went on. Before he started Lars and Kirk introduced him, so more or less he was returning the favor. It made sense and I didn't care.

Nah james has been sober for a while now. He put his family, musci in priorities 1st. They used to be called "alcholica" because of the massive boozing. The St. Anger album basically was about Metallica's trials. That is why they are so "tight" now.

@vanvilder Me and my two best friends were front row, fifteen feet away from James, Kirk, Lars, and Rob. We drove 13 hours from Michigan waited in line from about 7 a.m., and had the time of our lives. There was NOTHING on earth could have kill our rock boners. And if you did lose your rockrection it would have come back real quick! I hear ya though, I could've gone without anyone introducing Metallica, but until I read this comment I had never thought twice about having Chris Rock up there.
