  • Allied built several different yachts. The Mistress is 39 feet and the Princess is 36 feet. They are essentially sister ships with the same designer and lines. Both are good, strong, seaworthy boats.

  • Thanks. She's a 1976 Allied Mistress MK III. Most were center cockpit boats, but the III was the aft cockpit that I have. Good solid boats fairly inexpensive in the US market.

  • Absolutely fantastic!! Well done... I'm assuming that an Allied Mistress is the same brand as an Allied Princess.. If so what you say the differences are? There is a 38 Princess ketch rig at my marina that I can get pretty cheap and after seeing your video, if they are the same brand I just might buy it.

    Again GREAT SAIL!
