Ali was not the greatest boxer in history. Not even in his own time, losing to Frazier, Norton, etc. The thing placing him in the history books are his character out side the ring. Even though he made a fool of himself by the way he lashed out against for instance Frazier, he stood firm when it came to stuff that's really matter.
