He told me to be careful.
I only consumed like a 1/4 teaspoon of the sauce... it struck my mouth like a fucking grenade. Tears, sweat, pain. I felt grateful for the waiter, telling me in the first place it was too spicy. Naan, more naan, milk. Even after an hour when I arrived at my hotel room, my face was still sweating and tongue burning.
Yesterday, I tried the phaal at the BLCH. It was barely as bad as the vindalho in India.

I was in India last year and I ordered a chicken phaal (fal), since it said it was very spicy. I had eaten vindalho many times before with no problem, so I thought I'd take it up a notch. The waiter said:
"Don't take fal. Too spicy. Vindalho better. Fal too spicy, only for daredevils"
I said "Allright then" and ordered a vindalho.
When I ordered my check, he asked me if I wanted a free sample of fal. I said "yeah, why not" and he brings me this tiny little cup and some naan bread.

Haha, naaa, not as much as one would think. Or at least not for me. I've heard some people were on fire the next day after eating it.

Water makes it worse. Milk > Water when eating spicy foods

In retrospect I should have gotten the Lassi, but I was on a bit of a budget with a year of travel ahead of me.
