  • Damn! That looks like alot of hard work!!! My hat is off to them!!!

    Stay safe!

  • Wish Canada would get there act together and get a program like this going. Also lose the griffons, and buy some HH60's

  • yeah thats what i figured. thats why they have the highest dropout rate other than delta and devgru. they also won a recent Soccom competition as the best at direct action.

  • @latexadib they are everything... if you watch special ops mission he is a pararescue jumper and he takes out 4-5 recon marines in every show they are the "universal soldier"

  • @marleynrs8 you bet, most of them.. well all of them arent just PJ's they go to ranger school, are navy seals they go to all army schools marine schools etc. they are special forces trained to get men and women out of danger by whatever means necessary. since there are so few of them out there they always do missions with seals and SF they can do anything any other soldier can and more

  • thanks. i understand that that's not what theyr're main mission is,but you never know what circumstances may become.

  • As much as I would love to say "PJ's do it all", the mission your describing would suit a SEAL team much better. However, if that SEAL team comes under fire and there is a dual operation at that point, I'd believe the first guys to be called would be PJ's

  • PJ's are the only job in the United States military whose sole job is to perform SAR missions of all kinds. They are trained and equipped for any sort of hostility, may they face it, but are relied upon mainly for their medical and rescue capabilities. Hope that helps. I'm in the AF and work with PJ's every day

  • I am pretty sure their primary mission is as a medic but they have their combat side to them if things get hot. Not for sure though thats just what I got out of everything I have read about them

  • you talk to your recruiter about it... they'll tell you it is the hardest branch to rank up in, and it's a lower signing bonus than the navy haha jk its true though. but anyways why come on youtube and ask this? ask a recruiter...
