The Christian church is the Nation for Bible prophecy. 1 Peter 2:9 The Jews rejected God (Jesus) and crucified Him. Jesus said to them that "your house is left unto you desolate." He also said, "The kingdom of God shall be taken from you (the Jewish nation), and given to a nation (the Church made of Jews and Gentiles) bringing forth the fruits thereof." Matthew 23:38 & 21:43. The church is now Israel. Romans 2:28,29; Galatians 3:29, etc.

godsarmy, you are so correct. Many people think that just by being good, that's enough to get you through this life and into heaven. But as you probably know, if you aren't in compliance with John 3:3, Acts 2:38 and James 1:22, there's really only one fate with you. Yes God is sovereign and desires no one to be lost, but he is not mocked and will judge according to everyone's works weather good or bad! On the day of judgment, a lot of surprises are going to show up!

We are blessed, but we were not a very moral nation...we ordained slavery..our forefathers allowed slavery. We spoke the Gospel and enslaved and terrorized minorities from the same tongue. Until we admit that America has been a country of contradiction, then we will not be totally blessed by God. God loves us practicing his Gospel, and he sees our hypocrisy as well. Until pastors understand that we will not experience the fullness of God. Be more responsible Donald Perkins in your teachings.
