No they weren't. That was a different band with the same name. This is a UK group, who had a single on US London, "Please Stay" b/w "What's News Pussycat".

Boy am I confused. This isn't the song what new pussycat as title says..and there were two Cryan Shames bands? I have a record of them with the drummer who has a claw hand. Who is who? I love this song and band. Thanks.
