This video was taken at NASA JSC in a lab where particles from Comet Wild2 are being studied. The particles from the comet were captured in aerogel.

  • Excellent question. Actually, the aerogel has so little mass that it feels like NOTHING. That's why I dropped it accidently, I thought I was still holding it, but in reality I did not even know I had let go of it. Strange material it is.

  • @eier it feels like Styrofoam, and sound like styrofoam also, but its mostly feels like nothing

  • what does it feel like (or is it too wispy to stimulate human sense of touch)?
