HB262, 'relative to beverage manufacturers,' before the NH House Commerce Committee, 2/22/2011. Less vaguely, "This bill establishes a nano brewery license for businesses that manufacture up to 2,000 barrels of beer or specialty beer annually. This bill also eliminates the quantity restriction on sales by beverage manufacturers to the general public."

Is it just me, or does the Committee come off as more authoritarian and micromanaging THAN THE LIQUOR COMMISSION (starting at about 28:30)...?

  • If it makes you feel any better, our liquor policing group in Oregon is pretty obnoxious as well.

If NH makes it easy to start a small craft brewery in their state, I'd gladly move their to start one.

  • @Talodus Better start packin', buster (dibs on the first case!)... };->

You can follow the bill's progress by just plugging HB262 into the bill search at gencourt [dot] state [dot] nh [dot] us .

And don't for get to join the Free State Project, too...

  • the recording is not bad. the problem seems to be failing to crank it up in editing.

  • @RidleyReport Yeah, I've been a little distracted the past few days...

  • ...shitty audio...

  • @andrewade68 Better than what you'd have otherwise, right? I giddily look forward to your contribution to the Audio Equipment Fund. Thanks for your support...

  • I don't drink and have no care to. Why on earth they need to keep control over anyone is beyond me. Sigh, soon baby soon! It's time to scrap all the RSA's and start fresh with nothing.
