There are three matches where they feature 300 games. The first match is the championship match of the 1993 Wichita Open Between Mike Aulby and David Ozio. Mike Aulby defeated David Ozio 300-279 and won his second title of the 1993 season. The second match of the 1994 PBA National is between Johnny Petraglia and Walter Ray Williams Jr. and Johnny Petraglia def. Walter Ray 300-194. The third game on this clip is the first match of the 1996 Flagship Open between Bob Learn Jr. and Johnny Petraglia. Learn Jr. defeated Petraglia 300-279. I know that everyone will have fun in watching these 300 games.

  • the guy Aulby bowled against (Ozio) was perfect until the 9th frame! so it could have been a tie with 300!

  • @TheMusicjuice, David Ozio was actually perfect until the 8th frame when he left the 7-pin on the left lane.

  • Walter Ray threw a 194 against Johnny.

  • BooyaCS, thanks for telling me what Walter's score was.

  • My dad bowled against aulby in a pro-am

  • @joeyrulz86 Pistakeerick is right. When I was watching the Learn Jr. 300 vs Petraglia 279 match with my dad he told it was a 'house shot". How does he know? He oils the lanes where we bowl at and he put down that shot. It's all a matter of changing the ratio of oil that's put down and from that point it's just finding the hold spot and who is going to carry because if you watch the whole telecast Petraglia, Mazza and Bohn III had 15 to the gutter themselves and they were lefties.

  • would have been a lot better of a video if you showed the whole match uninterrupted

  • A great motivational vid before going bowling this morning. Thanks for posting !

  • Of course I'm not saying that anyone could bowl 300 on TV. But if you serve up a "house shot" to pros, you're going to see some ridiculously high scores. Not all 300 games are equal you know. Having pro bowlers complete on this shot is like having pro golfers compete a local municipal course where the longest par 4 is 375 yards.

  • @Pistakeerick wow r u kidding??? So u r saying anyne could have went on tv and shot 300 cause it wasnt legit??? Amazing! Let me know when u find the formula they used so we can put it down on the lanes. Ill make sure ozio hears he got cheated then... and when he finds out, he will freak out! pathetic dude...

  • @gabbycan1 Of course, it's easier to bowl 300 when the lanes are "set up", like they were in both the Aulby-Ozio match & the Learn-Petraglia match, where the loser shot a 279 game. Petraglia's 300 against WRW Jr was legit. The other two were highly questionable. It cheapens the accomplishment when you give pros so much area to work with.

  • Bob Learn Jr. is one of the most powerful professional bowlers I studied in the 90's. I bowled for over 23 years, trying to imitate his style with no success. I averaged 193 after reading Nelson Burton, Jr.'s book.. If you have a passion for the game you know how Bob Learn Jr. could throw a perfect game. He has commitment, heart, and confidence in his ability to release his will into the balls force into the awaiting pins. Thanks Bob Learn Jr. for the memories.
