This is part 1 of a three-part review of the Rodney Mullen Uber Light deck and Tensor Response trucks from Dwindle Distribution. In the review, I go over the technology of the board, and show you how the gear holds up through various forms of skateboarding (street, ramp, and other obstacles). I tried to make this review as thorough and fair as possible, so I sincerely hope it benefits anyone interested in this particular gear. Please keep in mind, I'm just one skater, so your experience and reaction to the board and trucks may differ. Note: This entire video is available at Google video, where you can download and save it for later.

  • On here's my experience with the super uber light v3. Got it Christmas, and it got this heinous truck to truck, topside crack( more like canyon) from a heelflip down a curb.

  • @futtbuckr

    Daaaaamn! That's crazy!

  • hey are the trucks good because i am planning on getting them

  • @megabootjustin

The ones in the video broke in 45 minutes of skating flat.

  • i found one for 85 u fuck face

  • @mandoolvera

    1. This was filmed 4 years ago.

    2. It sucks to hear a skater that's never met another skater talk to him like that.

Anyway, enjoy your skateboard and have fun. Later.

Do me a favor and ignore any and all of my videos.

...also, I'm guessing you missed the part about Dwindle sending the deck and trucks over? Yes, you're the idiot.

  • If i can find somewhere one i will try one . I don´t think mullen skates a small board. He skated 9 inch to 8.5 in the early 90 so i think a 8.0 is a small board for him but i don´t know...

  • Well that hollow is made by removing 3 layers of veneer to house the strip. The strip itself is literally foam. I scraped it with my fingernail and I removed a considerable amount of uber light.

  • I figured out what makes these boards structurally inferior to regular boards. In the middle if the board, there is a truck to truck hollow where the carbon fiber strip rests.

  • Yea..... I hate almost now

  • Today, I did a flat ground front pop shuv.... And the nose snapped. And not snapped like the tail came off. It snapped like the canyon continued and the board split in half lengthwise. What the fuck is up with that eh?
