I expounded on and satirized a direct quote: "I have repeatedly noted that we haven't turned any corners," Petraeus said. "We haven't seen any lights at the end of the tunnel. The champagne bottle has been pushed to the back of the refrigerator."
And if you google it on news dot google dot com, you'll see it's a description he uses repeatedly in many interview situations not just in his testimony this week.
