Up to this time, Mamie Van Doren had only been seen on the screen in 12 movies, with her latest being the low-budget color western "Star in the Dust" (1956), in which she was second billed but has a role. Some of her more noteworthy films are "Running Wild" (1955), "Untamed Youth" (1957), "Born Reckless" (1958), "High School Confidential!" (1958), "The Big Operator" (1959), "The Beat Generation" (1959), "Girls Town" (1959), "Vice Raid" (1960), and "College Confidential" (1960).
