I have sold these kitchen units for years! By profession I am a structural engineer so - guess what - out came the calculator and the structural design codes of practice - the result was more than interesting. If you lowered that tank onto rows of non-leg standard Mereway units with standard laminate worktops - THESE KITCHEN UNITS WILL SUPPORT THE TANK. So to the relief of ptonpc, he actually could park his tank on his kitchen cabinets (IF THEY WERE MEREWAY UNITS).

If they can't take the weight of a tank that's it, I won't buy them. OK I did 23 years ago and they still look like new.
