  • i couldn't get to sleep without trying to work this out on piano. trent on piano is so ethereal, skeletal. especially the verse in this song, it sounds like emptiness. but there is such warmth in the chorus. the right hand embellishments add such eloquence to the steady left hand chords. he does this thing in many songs; at the end of a progression he will play descending tones, creating tension that is resovled at the onset of the progression. it just sucks you in, down the spiral. remarkable.

  • Who else can push play on a boom box and make a masterpiece? Not many Trent did.

  • @xxkarate LOL people aren't allowed to evolve as musicians? They have to fit your mentality and not expand their own.Sounds kind of selfish and infantile. If you can't grow as a human or artist, then just DIE.

  • A sound which struck me as "deep, dark, and real" as a teenager, standing here, looking back at the barely changing landscape, I see it is anything but.

  • @alfonsoskid and his vocals change to :/

  • trent is so beautiful on the inside way to me > so glad he got clean > can't wait until he starts up again from a long needed rest and time off with his wonderful wife. i miss you trent. the best.

  • @Slothth weak

  • This was an extended/secret track off of With Teeth album. And l completely agree, he just tears you down, and then re-builds you with his sequences on the piano... He's so ingenious it hurts...

  • masterpiece after masterpiece...a contemporary maestro of epic creativity. Trent is real.

  • His voice is so intoxicating.. Just hearing his voice makes me outrageously wet. ;)

  • Why does everyone always talk about what he looks like? Music is music, not a fashion show. Media has destroyed music. Good song by the way, for just him and a dollar store cd player.
