@vgsrule4ever because it's not off road worthy? it's 4 wheel drive is utter crap. yes, i drive one. good city car with good value but an off roader it's not.

@FrostedCold oh, right..i'm from italy..however, as far as i know you're gonna have the new kuga in spring(which is named escape in the USA, right??).

but i think the new one is not so cool as the first kuga.

2012 kuga/escape has a nice front, similar to its predecessor, but i don't like the back, and looking at it by the side it doesn't look sporty as 2008 kuga, anyway new kuga has better interiors

@CAgunNut Why Not?, if they go out with friends with capability of recovering themselves the all power to them, get out there and have some fun, their not hurting you or anyone else.

Not all AWD the same, some very capable. How many big 4x4 out there that don't even see any dirt at all, let it go......

I have the 2011 sx4 crossover. I live where the curves are like the Dragon's Tail. This is a fun car to drive corners at unrealistic speeds and grabs the road with cat claws. I have gotten no snow worth mentioning this year but was wanting to play. The sx4 is a bit over powered. It uses a bit of gas and has a small tank. but this car is real fun. I usually get 0 to 60 in less than 10 secs and never got that in my 3.4L toyota tacoma 4wd. I love the crossover.

My tiguan escape 4motion can beat all of these on and offroad easy. But the ground clearance is very poor offroad. dont let the raised suspension fool you.. if you own one you know what i'm saying.

@Jakeness21 biggest problem is their not better than the wrangler at offroad and perform worse on road with their poor visibility.

@DevPack Exactly what vacantmind said..its a small SUV (a light compact sport utility on a truck chasis) Crossovers are usually based on a car unibody
