Images were taken every 20 seconds with a digital camera set up in the Getty Museum's spraybooth as James DePasquale, studio manager for Roy Lichtenstein, repainted Lichtenstein's outdoor sculpture "Three Brushstrokes" exactly as he did when it was first made in 1984. The sculpture, which is part of the collection of the J. Paul Getty Museum, is the subject of a collaborative conservation effort by the Getty Museum and the Getty Conservation Institute, working with the Roy Lichtenstein Foundation and the Roy Lichtenstein Estate and studio.
