After a cross-country trip and over 10,000 miles put in I've found out
the true pro's and con's of this unit

PRO's - Great GPS accuracy, excellent routing engine, attractive design, bright screen, Bluetooth and ability to play audio files and free life-time traffic notification.

CON's - Touchscreen sensitivity lacking, detour function could use improved, takes too long to search for POI's by name and most importantly should have speech recognition/command function.

Conclusion - If you don't need to make many adjustments or look up information while driving then this unit is perfect.

Thanks for the review - am contemplating this one for my m'cycle. The feature that really matters (but is seldom mentioned) is the ability to export to the unit pre-planned 'routes' (created with MapQuest). This takes away much of the need for 'in-flight' inputting... so much safer. Many Garmin GPS don't have this functionality.
