This is a tutorial on how to custom make a small working terrarium waterfall. It just takes a couple of hours to make and a few basic craft supplies (and a small water pump) I show you the complete process from start to finish. This is a very special touch that you can add to your terrarium and if you keep reptiles the resulting rise in air moisture is very healthy for them.
Lots of terrarium stuff on my website:

This video also comes with a web based tutorial that shows you how to make this step by step. I also have resources on where to get the water pumps if you need one:

  • what is the material that you use as your base for the waterfall (the land)?

  • @clariceriz07 Sorry for the delay in my response. I missed your comment. The base of this diorama is a foam product called Foamular. It is a house insulater. Can buy it in sheets at home depot or lowes.

  • "I bought this at a dollar store, cost me 5 dollars." Haha.

  • Very creative .. but the fact of the matter is you're not using environmentally friendly materials.. Like your paints and you're sealant.. It has poisonous and flammable indicators in their labels.. Why would you use them? You know you're only poisoning your customers plants and or animals if they build this in a terrarium that has animals or insects.. fish even
