Monterey Bay Academy - Beach Walk

This is a video showing what it is like to walk from the Monterey Bay Academy Privately Owned beach up to the beach path gate that was build by my class of '96, as part of our graduation gift to the high school. It is tradition for the graduating class to provide the boarding academy with a parting gift. I used to surf every weekend right off this beach. The water is VERY cold and you need a wet-suit if you expect to live more then a few hours. Otherwise your muscels shut down and you cannot swim any more, then you just sink. This was 2007 during my 11 year Alumni Reunion. You can see the cypress trees along and around the path, it is very pretty and lends an interesting aroma to the air, combined with the salty air and cool breeze it is very pleasent, enjoyable, and relaxing.
