The Diesel Purge Process On A 82 Mercedes 300SD Part 1

READ ME! The set of 25 videos for the Diesel Purge process goes into great detail of how it is done on this car. Some videos may be boring but hey its better than not having enough videos to describe the process. But please enjoy and share it with other MB, VW, and Volvo diesel enthusiast.

This first video shows me priming the system with the Lubro Molly. I disconnected the return line and ran a 5/16 hose from the return off the spin on filter to my bottle. I plugged the incoming line with a hose segment and a bolt at the end held with a hose clamp.

The "to primer pump line" is another hose segment I cut to fit on to the filter leading to the bottle.

Be sure to notice the primer pump filter and the color of the Lubro Moly. Because it turns near black at the end with all of the crap caught in it.

The goal is to clean the injection system along with the other fuel components. It also cleans inside the cylinder and removes carbon buildup.

USE CHEM-TUNE people!! They have the best tool and Chemicals in the world. Also used on Ferrari and Lamborghini engines to keeep them crisp!
