for everyone else, did i mention that there are numerous black and non white pannists out there who would run circles around andy narrell but don't get the same amount of recognition as him (among whites). it is what it is. facts are facts and whether people like it or not, race plays is prominent factor in everyday life, and music is no exception. Long live boogsie! a true master!

@pan4new and i will leave you with these final words. andy narrell is only where he is, (if he really is anywhere) because of his skin color. white people love to see other white people doing black things and pay a lot of money for it. he is a novelty for his people in so many words. like elvis, eminem, and many others. Like I said, when you find a pair of balls and post your own videos of your skills , come back and let's have a discussion about 'musicality'. As far as me, I don't need to prove anything. My skills pay my bills. what is insulting to me is people like yourself who try to diminish a black trini living legend like like boogsie while promoting a white guy who is foreign to the culture of pan music. Its not about race in the end to me, but for you it is.

@AManandHisPan Forgot to say: what you write about Narell is quite insulting and is aiming against him as person, not musician. Dou you at least know him to judge like this. I personally start to think that you hate white people, especially if they play pan. I know Boogsie as well as Andy and both are great persons & musicians.

@AManandHisPan Oh boy! I checked out your vids and how you react perfectly matches with your skills on pan:-) But no sense to discuss further because everyones taste is different. I try to judge music by the skill and musicality and you do it by the color of the skin :-( Besides, critisizing Boogsie doesn't mean not to like him. BTW: I don't stay all day long in you tube, only from time to time I like to kick some people out of their livelong self-complacency. Worked!

LOL a people even THINKING that Andy Narell could be the greatest with the likes of legends like boogsie, professor philmore, etc still alive and kicking! Not so strangely enough, its only white people who seem to think this. And the only people who pay money to see Andy Narrell look like him, not like boogsie, etc. Andy Narrell is merely the great white HYPE of pan, nothing more, nothing less.

Getting emotional, are you? FYI, i make a living from pan and support my family with my skills and performances. When you can say the same for yourself, come back and tell me then that i need to 'see the light'. You gotta love armchair critics and amateur players! Especially ones like you who yap yap all day on youtube while having NO VIDEOS in their profile to back it up! post a video of your skills nd then come back and act like you can judge!

@pan4new this was not his best performance but it does not tarnish his image as the g.o.a.t. in my eyes. all performers have those days. LOL @ boogsie being a legend only in tnt. what planet are you living on? LOL. and for you to even mention a hack like Narrell in the same sentence as boogsie shows that you are biased. Andy Narrell is the most over hyped pannist of all time maninly due to the fact that he is white, nerdy and awkward and europeans identify with him..
