  • What the point in this

  • @DIVEPUSS to show you how far it can detect metal because if you metal detect you will want to know

  • I just bought this pinpointer for $65 was that a good price? What are the good and bad things about this pinpointer? Are there other ones out there around the same price that are better? Does the pinpointer beep and vibrate or what, how does it sense the metal? :)

  • for 65 dollars is a good price good things are its small and detects a coin around 1 inch away bad things are a inch is not that deep and some times a coin will more than one inch away and it wont detect it but overall its a good pinpointer for 65 dollars. it beeps and you can switch it to vibrate if you want. i cant tell you how it detects the metal thought, its a little different than how a normal metal detector detects metal.

  • You almost need to be on top of the item.......

  • ya you do its usually about an inch away from the item when it beeps

  • the pinpointer works better in the vibration mode i have found

  • Actually this detector is better than none at all but it

is not a very good tool. I have had several they are

prone to a lot of defects cheap construction at its best.

an inch is about as good as you can expect depending on

the soil. I will never buy another.

  • If you buy one of the better {and more expensive} machines, you don't need a pinpointer, you are just wasteing money. I have a e-series XLT that has a built in pinpointer.

  • Thanks
